RJM at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire was the first time that an institution used the RJM tool kit as the primary means of support and information from us. We met over the course of several months with Jeff Georgantes, Head of the Jewelry/Metals Program, along with Stephanie Pacheco, Outreach & Arts Education Manager. They were interested in using RJM and the tool kit as part of a college-wide outreach initiative, working with students as well as alumni and friends of the Dartmouth community to create work for an exciting exhibition.

“Each piece in this bag says a bit about me.  I realized that when I combed through my jewelry so that I could donate this to CVI with the Hop.  From the roller derby scrabble tile, to the broken strands of auction finds and costume jewels, and a few gifts I no longer wear, my donations tell a bit about my love for the frivolous and funny – both old and new!  I just love this idea and am excited to participate.  I can’t wait to see the made over pieces!”
